Wednesday on a Monday ^_^

I loved Christina Ricci's performance of Wednesday Addams, her lifeless (no pun intended) nature is spot on and was well delivered. And I especially love the Forced-to-watch-Disney movies scene where after watching a barrage of family friendly films like The Sound of Music and Annie she then smiles to the "normal" people and scares them. Trying to be "like them" so they would just stop pestering her and leave them and her bunch alone. Seeing that as a kid is really quite something, it was out of the ordinary for me and I could relate to it somehow being different from most of my classmates at the time whom I saw as pretentious and plastic on the outside like the normal people that are depicted in the movie. I just really didn't fit in.

I just had to make a Landscape Portrait of Wednesday drinking poison after hearing the owners' speech about what being a privileged young adult is all about and then jumping like brainwashed mindless tools. Such a cult classic movie.

Trivia: Amanda, the alpha female on the movie who hates Wednesday, is actually Mercedes McNab, Harmony from the Buffy and Angel TV show fame. Who would have thought she'd be a vampire when she grew up?
